Thursday Night Showdown: Ravens vs. Chiefs

The Ravens and Chiefs are both powerhouse teams with explosive rosters, and this game promises fireworks. The Chiefs are coming off back-to-back Super Bowl wins, and the Ravens are eager to prove they're ready to challenge the reigning champs. With a lot on the line, here's how you should approach your fantasy lineup for this game.

Must - Starts

1. Patrick Mahomes (QB, Chiefs)It’s hard to argue against starting Mahomes. The reigning MVP is primed to light up the scoreboard and his chemistry with his new targets, including rookie Xavier Worthy, could be electric. Expect plenty of passing yards and a few touchdowns.

2. Lamar Jackson (RB, Ravens)Jackson is a dynamic playmaker who can score points both through the air and on the ground. The Chiefs' defense will have its hands full trying to contain him, making him a must-start.

3. Travis Kelce (TE, Chiefs)Kelce is the ultimate safety net for Mahomes. With his ability to find the end zone and rack up yards, he's a top-tier tight end play for this week.

Must - Sits

1. Rashod Bateman (WR, Ravens)Bateman has been inconsistent and with the Chiefs’ revamped secondary, it might be safer to avoid starting him this week. There are better options out there.

2. Gus Edwards (RB, Ravens)The Ravens’ backfield is crowded, and Edwards might not see enough volume to justify a start. There’s a risk he could be overshadowed by other backs.

3. Skyy Moore (WR, Chiefs)Moore has potential but hasn’t fully established himself as a reliable fantasy option yet. With the arrival of Worthy and other options in the Chiefs' offense, it’s best to bench Moore until he proves his worth.

Sleepers

1. Xavier Worthy (WR, Chiefs)Worthy, the rookie speedster, is a player you’ll want to keep an eye on. He has the potential to make a big splash in his debut and could be a game-changer in fantasy lineups. He’s a great sleeper pick with the ability to make big plays and score long touchdowns.

2. Odafe Oweh (LB, Ravens)Oweh is an underrated IDP player who could make a significant impact this season. With his ability to rush the passer and make plays in the backfield, he could provide valuable points for your fantasy defense.
